A PROPOS DE MOI

Je m’appelle Nicole BILLON RIEUX, présidente fondatrice de l’association Arc-en-ciel pour le Sri Lanka.

Cette association est née d’un lien profond avec le Sri Lanka suite au tsunami du 26 Décembre 2004, avec un but : celui d’agir concrètement pour les enfants et de leur offrir de meilleures chances pour l’avenir. Face aux réalités vécues sur place, il m’est apparu essentiel de transformer l’émotion en actions solidaires et durables.

L’Association Arc-en-ciel pour le Sri Lanka œuvre principalement pour l’aide à l’enfance et le soutien scolaire. Notre objectif est simple mais fondamental : permettre aux enfants d’accéder à l’éducation, à un cadre rassurant et à l’espoir d’un avenir meilleur. Chaque action est menée avec respect, écoute et en collaboration avec des partenaires locaux, afin de répondre au plus juste aux besoins réels.

Mon engagement repose sur des valeurs profondément humaines : solidarité, respect, partage et dignité.
L’association Arc-en-ciel pour le Sri Lanka est avant tout une aventure humaine, faite de rencontres, de sourires, et de petits gestes qui, ensemble, créent un grand changement.

My name is Nicole BILLON RIEUX, founding president of the Arc-en-ciel association for Sri Lanka.

This association was born from a deep bond with Sri Lanka following the tsunami of December 26, 2004, with one goal: to take concrete action for children and offer them better chances for the future. Faced with the realities experienced on site, it seemed essential to me to transform emotion into supportive and lasting actions.

The Rainbow Association for Sri Lanka works mainly for child welfare and educational support. Our objective is simple but fundamental: to allow children to access education, a reassuring environment and the hope of a better future. Each action is carried out with respect, listening and in collaboration with local partners, in order to respond as accurately as possible to real needs.

My commitment is based on profoundly human values: solidarity, respect, sharing and dignity.
The Rainbow association for Sri Lanka is above all a human adventure, made up of meetings, smiles, and small gestures which, together, create a big change.
